Qatar’s Creature

A mystery creature was purportedly photographed in Qatar, by an Arab expatriate.
It was spotted in the Doha Corniche’s parking lot, near the Oryx statue, according to a report published in a local Arabic daily.
“She was very soon surrounded by a large number of people who also attested to the fact of what she had seen. But it suddenly disappeared out of their sight when they tried to go near it,” the report added, according to the Gulf Times.

It seems some people have missed the whole point of exposing hoaxes and would rather complain or attempt to kill the messengers. Never mind…just to put this to bed, here’s the followup that some people seemed to have missed.

On the morning of April 24th, readers (KimIsAwesome was first, others later) at Cryptomundo, in comments, identified this Qatar photo as a toy that is commercially available and the posting was updated. (Other people sent in the same identification, but repeats were not posted, of course.)
